The Original West Wallsend Colliery Poppet Head (Head Frame), this
photo taken of the old ruins in
December 1971.
This section was relocated in 1977 to a Mining Museum in Freemans Waterhole, NSW.
The original base was dismantled in October 2008, where it had stood since the Colliery opened
 in 1888.
The reconstruction and relocation to Coal Services at Argenton, NSW.  Completed in December 2008.
